For most Americans, buying a home is the largest purchase they will make in their lifetime.  Such a purchase is an important and somewhat complicated process if you do not know what to expect.

So knowledge is power.  And we urge you to empower yourself by enrolling in a brief (4 to 8 hour course) that will provide a comprehensive look at the home buying process, establishing or re-establishing good credit, the mortgage lending process, definitions of terminology, home inspections, potential barriers to home ownership, and life as a homeowner.

The following Kansas City area nonprofit organizations offer such courses.  Please contact them.
